  1BOM sources only from an AVL of vetted authorized franchise distributors and OCMs. New sources undergo formal onboarding · trade references · sample QC pass required.
• Chain of Custody
  Every incoming lot has full documentation: PO · packing list · manufacturer invoice · original packaging · date/lot codes preserved
• Untraceable Refused
  Lots without complete chain-of-custody documentation are rejected at receiving · zero exceptions

4-Stage Inspection SOP (per SAE AS6081)

1. 01 Visual · External Inspection Package integrity · date code · lot code · country of origin marking · authorized manufacturer logo · re-marking indicators (sanding · re-plating · surface reticulation).
2. 02 XRF Material Verification Elemental composition analysis of leads and body. Comparison to manufacturer reference within ±3% tolerance. Detects: re-plating · base metal substitution · counterfeit lead-frame material.
3. 03 X-Ray Internal Inspection Bond wire count · geometry · integrity. Die attach voiding < 25% per J-STD-020. Lead frame authenticity vs. reference archive.
4. 04 Decapsulation & Die Comparison Random-sample decap (chemical or laser). Die layout · foundry mark · bond pad geometry · metal layer count compared against archived reference from authorized channel.

Escalation & Reporting

• Suspect Detection
  Any anomaly at any stage → lot quarantined · escalated to Sr. QC Engineer within 4 hours · buyer notified
• Confirmed Counterfeit
  Reported to ERAI · IHS Markit · manufacturer trust database · source blacklisted from AVL permanently
• Customer Escape
  If a customer reports a suspect unit shipped by us: full refund + replacement expedited · third-party lab test cost covered · root cause analysis shared within 5 business days
